    Interesting web site that highlights the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Grandcopais, Normandy, France from four years of German occupation. Eighty-six Army Rangers returned June 6th, 1994 to celebrate with the townspeople. Includes excerpts from President Clinton’s address at Point du Hoc.

    Imperial War Museum
    Museum in England covers conflicts, especially those involving Britain and the Commonwealth, from the First World War to the present day.
    Normandie Memoire
    A French web site (English language version available) dedicated to the 60th anniversary of D-Day, organizing, coordinating and promoting the events commemorating the Normandy landings.
    Portsmouth World War II Museum
    Tens of thousands of troops and vast quantities of equipment left for the Normandy beaches from Portsmouth, England. This museum commemorates the D-Day invasions and houses a tapestry that depicts the events of the day.
    The National Museum of the Pacific War
    Dedicated exclusively to telling the story of the Pacific Theater battles of World War II. Originally named The Admiral Nimitz Museum, the collection is housed solely in the historic Nimitz Hotel.
    U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum
    The United States Holocaust Memorial Museum is America’s national institution for the documentation, study and interpretation of Holocaust history, and serves as this country’s memorial to the millions of people murdered during the Holocaust.
