| From the 14-inch main battery of the battleship USS Texas (BB-35) all the way down to the .45-caliber pistol that was used by 82nd Airborne Division paratrooper SGT John Ray in front of the church in Ste.-Mère-Église, the guns of D-Day came in all shapes and sizes. These were the weapons that the men on both sides of the battle used in the struggle for Normandy. Join Historian in Residence Martin K.A. Morgan as he discusses some of the most famous guns that fought the battle in June 1944.
